Twin Lakes Hike, Canoe Ride & Home Stay Experience in Musanze (1 Day)

• Morning Departure (approx. 9:00 AM): The trip typically starts with a pickup from your accommodation in Musanze or the surrounding area. You will travel a short distance to the starting point of the hike.
• Guided Hike (approx. 4 hours): Your guide will lead you on a moderate hike through the hilly landscape surrounding the lakes. The trail takes you through terraced farms and local villages until the lakeshore.
  • Highlights: Enjoy panoramic views of the "Twin Lakes" and the majestic Virunga Volcanoes in the distance. The hike provides opportunities to observe local farming methods and daily life.
• Lunch: A picnic lunch is included during the hike.
• Afternoon Canoe Ride (approx. 1–2 hours): After the hike, you will board a modern, safe canoe for a serene ride on one of the lakes.
