Bonnie’s Tours & Adventures is a women-led tourism company based in Rwanda. We create authentic travel experiences that connect visitors with Rwanda’s wildlife, culture, landscapes, and local communities. Our goal is to make every journey personal, meaningful, and responsible.

We combine local knowledge, personalized travel planning, and friendly support. We help you discover Rwanda through experiences that match your interests, budget, and available time. We also aim to support local communities and promote responsible tourism.

We can arrange experiences with guides who speak English, French, or Kinyarwanda, depending on availability. Please tell us your preferred language when you contact us.

The best tour depends on your interests and how much time you have. Popular options include mountain gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park, wildlife safaris in Akagera National Park, the Nyungwe Canopy Walk, cultural experiences, and visits to local communities.

If you have limited time, a day trip may suit you. For a deeper experience, consider a multi-day Rwanda tour.

Yes! We can help you plan a personalized itinerary based on your interests, travel dates, budget, and group size. You can combine wildlife, culture, nature, local food, and community experiences in one trip.

Yes, private tours can be arranged for travelers who prefer a more personal experience. Private transportation and a dedicated driver-guide can be organized according to your itinerary and booking arrangements.

You can enjoy a rewarding day trip if your time is limited. However, a stay of three to seven days or longer gives you more time to explore different regions, enjoy wildlife experiences, and connect with local communities.

We can help you choose an itinerary that fits your schedule.

Contact us with your preferred travel dates and number of travelers. We can help you plan your visit to Volcanoes National Park and advise you about gorilla trekking permits and tour arrangements.

Gorilla permits are limited, so it is best to plan ahead. Permit availability and costs must be confirmed for your travel dates.

Inclusion depends on the specific tour package. Some packages may include the gorilla trekking permit, while others may list it separately. Please check the tour’s inclusions and exclusions or ask us for a detailed quotation before booking.

Akagera National Park is home to the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes. A safari offers opportunities to look for these animals in their natural habitat. However, wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Trekking conditions vary depending on the location of the gorilla family, the terrain, and the weather. Some treks are relatively short, while others require several hours of walking on steep or muddy trails.

Wear sturdy hiking shoes, bring water, and follow your guide’s instructions. Tell us about any mobility concerns before booking so we can help you understand the demands of the experience.

Yes! Our homestay experiences offer an opportunity to experience everyday Rwandan life, enjoy local hospitality, and learn about the country’s culture and traditions.

For example, Bonnie’s Homestay in Nyanza offers a personal experience near the King’s Palace Museum. You can ask us about room availability, meals, and cultural activities when planning your stay.

Depending on your itinerary and budget, we can help arrange suitable accommodation, including guesthouses, hotels, lodges, and homestays. Options and availability vary by destination and travel dates.

Many of our tours can be adapted for families. We can suggest activities based on your children’s ages and interests. However, some experiences have minimum age requirements. For example, chimpanzee trekking in Rwanda generally requires participants to be at least 15 years old.

Please share the ages of all children when requesting a family itinerary.

You can contact us through our website or WhatsApp. Share your preferred travel dates, number of travelers, interests, and approximate budget.

We will review your request and help you choose a suitable tour or prepare a personalized itinerary. Your booking details, availability, price, and payment arrangements will be confirmed before you proceed.

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for gorilla trekking and other experiences with limited availability. Advance planning also gives you more accommodation and itinerary options.
